Pam Bell
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart we announce the death of a parish member of The Church of the Annunciation. A long time member of ECA, Pam Bell, went to eternal glory on Monday April 23rd and is in everlasting peace. Pam is survived by her daughter, Candace Bell, granddaugters, Trinity and Tristan and many other family members throughout the country. Pam Bell volunteered in many various positions at ECA and just finished serving temporary role on the Vestry filling a vacant position till our next Vestry election in 2018. Pam played a vital role in organizing our Servant Ministries which was created to help our Inreach efforts at ECA and to serve families going through whatever grief process they were going through. Worship and Holy Communion were an integral part of her faith and she served on Sunday April 22nd at the Altar as a Eucharistic Minister and the picture above with the chalice was taken just before the 10:30AM service. Pam was determined and unwavering in her ministry and work to those in need and had a compassion and love for all of God’s children. She advocated for social justice and guided parish leaders and the parish in conversations about diversity and racial injustices in our communities. Pam served her community faithfully during work and when having fun and personifed what it meant to be a disciple of Christ.
“May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.” Amen
The memorial service, committal and reception will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Marietta, GA on Saturday April 28th at 11AM. There are no words to convey how much Pam’s ministry, presence, and smile will be so greatly missed and we are thankful for the contributions she made to the life, ministry and mission of the Church of the Annunciation and made us better in our faith and ministry to the world.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers to please make contributions to the Memorial Fund to maintain the memorial garden and the Outreach fund that provides assistance to those in need and the various ministries in our communities that serve those in need throughout the world.
Condolences can be sent to:

Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with those they love. And this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
In Christ,
Father Paul +
