O God, because without you we are not able to please you, mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Journeys is a group that offers support, care, and compassion to those coping with grief, loss or any difficult life challenge. If you are seeking support through fellowship, please join us the second Saturday of each month from 11:30am-12:30 in the Activity Building. Southern Comforters Meet THIS Sunday after Church
All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit, crochet or make no-sew fleece blankets to support The Linus Project. This ministry meets the third Sunday of each month in the Activities Building.

The Reach Committee meets on the third Monday of every month at 7PM in the Activities Building. Everyone is invited to join and learn about our upcoming Inreach and Outreach plans and programs! Remember, you’re already a member!
Christian Formation Classes have Begun!
It’s not too late to join a class – All are welcome! Christian Education helps you not only learn more and go deeper in the word of God, but it helps to build lasting relationships! Adults and Youth Confirmation classes meet at 9:30 on Sundays. EYC Youth (age 4-18) meet at 10:15 on Sundays. Come and see!
Father Paul has begun a Pastoral Care Tour!
Being away from the church this past summer during training has reinforced how important our ministry, mission and worship is to Father Paul. He looks forward to seeing everyone back at church and praising God for all the blessings we have in our lives. He will also be making calls and visits to catch up with members of the parish. “See you soon!” — Fr. Paul
The Choir is Back – Join Us!
The choir is back! But… it’s not too late to join us! Weekly Thursday rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:15 pm. We would LOVE to have you join us. Absolutely no experience is necessary, and we need all voice parts. Even if you’ve never thought you were a singer, be assured you have gifts to offer! Plus, you can’t beat the fellowship and the sacredness of this form of prayer and praise. Please come and check us out!
Men’s Fishing Trip OCT. 9TH-13TH AT SHELL ISLAND!
Men’s Fishing Trip at Shell Island Fish Camp Oct 9-13th, Reserve Space Now. It’s that time of year again when the men of ECA and guests plan to head down to Shell Island Fish Camp for a weekend of fellowship, fishing, food & fun. You can go down on Weds, Thu, or Fri, and you don’t have to fish. Reserve your space now with a $100 deposit. Please see Horace Higgins or Tom Floyd for more information.
Episcopal Relief & Development Disaster Programs are working closely with dioceses in the path of Hurricane Dorian.
In addition, the organization is working through the Anglican Alliance to support the Anglican Diocese of the Bahamas & the Turks and Caicos as they begin assessing the damage. The organization’s Partners in Response and Resilience stand ready to respond in the coming weeks as the full extent of the slow-moving storm becomes clear.
