Please see the list of donated items we are seeking this year. On December 10<sup>th<\/sup> we will gather up the donated gifts for Emmaus House and go downtown to celebrate Eucharist with the mission and afterwards help organize and deliver all the donated items. Once we are done we then take our annual trip to the historic Varsity restaurant downtown and arrive back to ECA no later than 3PM. Volunteer drivers also needed<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Gift Wrap Instructions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please do not wrap: stuffed animals, book bags, sleeping bags, basketballs, footballs and other balls. All other gifts should be wrapped, then labeled to indicate the age\/gender suitability. Use a white adhesive label to write the age range and a colored dot to indicate the gender.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>SUPPLIES NEEDED: <\/strong>Wrapping paper, scissors, tape, black sharpies, white address labels (1\u201d \u2013 2 5\/8\u201d ) and colored dots: yellow, red, blue.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sort gifts by age <em>and <\/em>gender. Note: The age categories are: Infant, 1-2 , 3-5, 6-8 , 9-12, 13-16.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <strong>three <\/strong>gender categories are: boy (blue), girl (red), either (yellow)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Setup stations with wrapping supplies and instructions. Put sorted unwrapped gifts at each station with appropriate labeling supplies. Be sure those working at the station know what the age and gender is for each gift they are wrapping. For example, a station wrapping gifts for boys age 9-13 would have gifts with a white address label with a blue dot on it and \u201c9-13\u201d written large and legibly on the label.<\/li>\n<li>Please place white address label (with age range and colored dot) on top of the gift where it is easily visible.<\/li>\n<li>While all ages can help, non-adult wrappers will need careful supervision. We don\u2019t want any child to be disappointed by Santa\u2019s gift.\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <u>Emmaus House Gift Suggestions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> All Ages: <\/strong>Stuffed animals and balls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Infants: <\/strong>Blankets, sleepers, diapers, wipes, baby lotion, powder, shampoo, drinking cups, educational toys and books. Clothing for 8 months and older.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toddlers, 1 &#8211; 2 years: <\/strong>Girls, culturally sensitive dolls, tea sets, educational games, books. Boys, age-appropriate cars and trucks, soft footballs, and action figures. Boys or girls, musical &amp; educational toys, stuffed animals, puzzles, games, back packs, art sets, building blocks, balls, crayons and coloring books, videos, and books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 &#8211; 5 years: <\/strong>Girls, culturally sensitive dolls, jewelry, purses, barrettes &amp; hair accessories, dish\/tea sets, jump ropes. Boys, trucks, cars, and action figures. Boys or girls, sports equipment, backpacks, sleeping bags, stuffed animals, art &amp; craft and magic sets, chalk, books, educational toys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6 &#8211; 8 years: <\/strong>Girls, culturally sensitive dolls, jewelry, purses, hair accessories, dish\/tea sets, jump rope. Boys, trucks, car collections, and action figures. Boys or girls, Sports equipment, backpacks, duffel bags, sleeping bags, stuffed animals, art &amp; craft and magic sets, chalk, science books, educational toys and games, videos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9 &#8211; 12 years: <\/strong>Girls, inexpensive MP3 player, head set, MP3 speakers, science sets, jewelry, arts &amp; crafts supplies, slippers, sports equipment, stuffed animals, back packs, board games, educational items, sleeping bags, books and DVDs, socks, gloves, scarves, and warm hats.
