The Last Lenten Program of 2016 is titled “Dismantling Racism” and will feature Dr. Catherine Meeks, Diocesan Chairperson for the “Beloved Community. Racism is an issue that has to be faced in a straight forward and courageous manner and what better place for this work to occur than in the church where we all have a commitment to someone larger than ourselves who can help us find the courage to travel on the road to racial healing and reconciliation. We have begun this conversation in our Christian Ed. Class and invite the whole parish to take part also.
The program starts with a meal at 6:30 with salad, soup & bread and at 7pm we will begin with the presentations. We will provide nursery if you are interested in attending. We hope you will come and join us.
