Nicole is a North Carolina native and a cradle Episcopalian. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1995 after graduating from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, and has worked at CNN ever since. Nicole has attended ECA since 2015, and was co-chair of the Reach committee from 2018-2020. Prior to ECA, Nicole helped launch Alpha classes and led the weeknight women’s Bible study at Peachtree Church in Atlanta. In addition to her work and church service, Nicole co-founded Softer Streets, a nonprofit catering to unsheltered homeless people across the country. Nicole believes strongly that church is a place not only to practice faith, but to examine, develop and learn it. She sees service as a cornerstone of Christianity, and looks forward to continuing that outreach and welcoming new members into the body of Christ. This is her first year on the vestry.
