ECA Men’s group Fishing Trip
Sept 28th – Oct 2nd 2016
“Better to sit in a boat thinkin about God,
than sittin in church thinkin about fishin!”
It’s that time of year again when the Men of ECA and guests head down to Shell Island Fish Camp for a weekend of fellowship, fishing, food & Fun. Even if you don’t like fishin’ you can still go. There are motel rooms, cabins, and tents for accommodations, pick your choice. The cost for the trip is $325 that covers all expenses: room, fishin’ and food (except for adult beverages) from Weds-Sun, $300 from Thu-Sun and if you need to leave on Friday that is ok also (cost is $275) RV camping is $250 and Tent camping is $225 (for 4 days, reduce price $25 a day). A group will leave the church parking lot on Weds afternoon at noon and head down to Shell island fish camp in Florida and other times can be arranged also.
Please contact Rick Horner richardwhorner@gmail.com or Mike Wrinkle MWrinkle@gunbyconstruction.com Cash, credit (nominal fee) or checks accepted, please make payable to ECA for Men’s trip and can place in the plate or turn into the office and a $100 deposit is needed to pay for reservation expenses. We look forward to another great trip. Please let us know as soon as possible what days you would like to go so we can make the accommodations for space and boat rental.

*Expenses of the trip break down
*Rental of boat $65pp a day at a cost of $200 for the 3 days we are there per person. Approx $5,600 for 28 people, this is with minimum tip included. (Cost varies on days)
*Motel stay works out to $136pp for the 4 day stay, there are appox 20 spaces available for this type of accommodation $1360 (10 people) (cost Varies on how many)
* Cabins work out to $100pp for 4 nights and there are 16 spots available and cost would be approx. $1,600 for 16 people. (Cost varies on how many)
*Any one is welcome to pitch a tent at $40pp for 4 night stay. This is why the reduced cost and same goes for RV occupants at $80pp for the 4 night stay.
* These prices do not reflect the cost of food per person and we will give it a budget of about $45pp for 28 people which comes to $1260, so simple addition is about $10,000 worth of expenses.
These are just general numbers but it was done in order to help show how we come up with cost breakdown and why we come up with the price we do.
