Matt was born and raised overseas as his father was in the oil industry. Starting in Brazil, they lived in Libya, Singapore, Colombia, Argentina, back to Singapore, Peru and he ended up graduating from HS in Cairo, Egypt. In every single one of those countries, his mother found an Episcopal Church for their family to attend. As soon as he was able, Matt became an acolyte and as he grew older, helped with the youth group (s) within the church. Matt was confirmed in 1975 at the Episcopal Church in Lima, Peru.
While many of you know Matt as the guy who never misses a coffee hour assignment, his commitment to the Church is much greater than that and now that he is retired, Matt wants to help as part of the vestry to continue to grow ECA and the Fellowship that we all share together.
